If you have ever visited Cedar Key on the west coast of Florida, you KNOW about Tony’s Seafood Restaurant. Their world-renowned, award-winning clam chowder has kept their customers returning for years. You can imagine our surprise and delight when we found out Tony’s sister restaurant was moving in next door to our Mount Dora office!
Tony’s Chowder House serves a similar menu as their Cedar Key location, but you may notice a few differences. I should mention they are still serving their delicious house-made salad dressing. *I have put in a request that they start selling bottles of dressing in addition to their canned chowder!* The house vary by season! Be sure to reach out to them directly before heading that way. I can tell you from experience, you will be very disappointed if you arrive with your tastebuds set and they are closed!
