Market InformationWhen Is U-Pick Season in Central Florida?
Florida’s growing seasons are different from much of the country, which means there is something happening on local farms during much of the year. Exact harvest dates change annually based on weather and growing conditions.
Winter: Strawberries, citrus and cool-season vegetables
Spring: Blueberries, peaches, flowers and vegetables
Summer: Farm stores and limited heat-tolerant crops; many U-pick farms take a seasonal break
Fall: Corn mazes, sunflower fields, pumpkin-themed events and fall festivals
The best rule is simple: if U-pick is the reason for your visit, check the farm’s current update before you leave home.
