Mount Dora Holiday Events
Light Up Mount Dora 2026
Kick off the holiday season in downtown Mount Dora at Light Up Mount Dora. The city comes alive as Christmas lights illuminate Elizabeth Evans Park, Sunset Park, Donnelly Park and the surrounding downtown area.
The current 2026 schedule includes a drone show, pictures with Santa, entertainment, food vendors and fireworks.

Stroll through downtown Mount Dora during one of the city’s favorite Christmas traditions. The annual Christmas Walk features holiday lights, shopping, Santa, jugglers, carolers, a petting zoo and family-friendly entertainment.
Downtown shops will stay open until 9:00 PM, making this a great night to enjoy the Christmas lights, shop locally and grab dinner downtown.

Snow comes to Mount Dora during Children’s Christmas Snow in the Park. Kids can enjoy snow sledding on three levels of hills with tubes provided, along with pictures with Santa and holiday entertainment.
Guests can donate a toy for local charities to receive a Fast Pass for sledding. No pets or glass containers are permitted.

The annual Mount Dora race weekend includes a Saturday 5K and Sunday half marathon through Mount Dora.
The 5K is scheduled to begin at 7:45 AM on Saturday, and the half marathon is scheduled to begin at 7:05 AM Sunday.

Downtown Eustis kicks off the Christmas season with Light Up Eustis. Ferran Park comes alive with Christmas music, the lighting of the city’s 50-foot Christmas tree and Santa’s arrival.
