The City of Tavares presents our 7th Annual ROCKTOBERFEST & Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In!
LIVE ROCK MUSIC | Seaplane Competitions | Food Trucks | Vendors and ADMISSION IS FREE!
Festivities will begin with our Monster Splash Seaplane Fly-In; whether you’re a pilot, aviation enthusiast, or simply curious about amphibious aircraft, you don’t want to miss this! Seaplanes fly in from all over to participate in our flying competitions, like the crowd’s favorite “Pumpkin Drop” contest. While the pilots compete, we will give pumpkin decorating kits and candy to the first 100 kids at the Pilot Registration Tent. The seaplane flying contests are scheduled to begin at 11:00 am, and the Pilot/Spectator Meet & Greet will be from 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm, where you can get photos with the pilots and their planes.
Following the contests, we will take you on a journey back in time with our power-packed rock show! (Lineup TBA)
