Growing your own herbs is a great way to have fresh herbs easily accessible. Not all herbs work at all times in Florida. Come learn how to grow a successful herb garden. Teen Library Gardening Volunteers
Looking for volunteer hours? Teens may gain community service hours when they attend the Teen Gardening Series and commit to helping care for the Library’s Flower Boxes (water, weed, and possibly plant new flowers as needed). Interested parties should contact Carl Simple, Teen Coordinator, 352-742-6204 or csimple@tavares.org.
In order to care for the flower boxes and receive volunteer hours it is required to attend the gardening classes.
