This workshop is for grades 6th-12th and is great for the beginner as well as those with more experience/knowledge. Cost is $135 and includes all materials, supplies (including a frame for final piece) and instructon by in house instuctor and co-owner Karyn Lambert.

Have you seen all those doodlers out there and wished you knew how to do that? This workshop will teach you how! Students will receive 8 hours of instruction and gain enough knowledge and confidence to easily continue increasing their skills in the future- and they will have the supplies to keep them going.

Did you know that just like most art, Zen Doodling comes with some great benefits! Zen Doodling consists of simple repetitive strokes with a pen or pencil and is a great way to reduce stress, boost your creative confidence, boost concentration, practice mindfulness, improve fine motor skills, and may even lead to a creatie breakthrough!

In this workshop students will learn:
Minimum of 4 basic pattern types- line, checkerboard,nature, and organic
Practice multiple taught designs within those basic patterns
Create their own Zendoodle designs within those basic patterns
How to add color to their designs following the principles of the color wheel to ensure the flow of colors within their designs
Create their final Zendoodle Artwork on 9×12 100lb illustration paper

Mini Workshop- Zentangles (optional add-on)
Students will learn how to take the patterns and designs they learned and created during the Zendoodle workshop and turn them into a Zentangles. Students will make mini abstract works of art created by “tangling” implemented patterns.
Day 1- learn and practice how to tangle patterns together
Day 2 – design and create a Zentangle on 9×12 100lb illustration paper
All supplies and materials provided including a frame for final piece
