You will either be jumping for joy or shedding a tear as you realize summer is coming to an end. There are only a few short weeks left, so it’s time to start prepping.
I am amazed by all of the opportunities our generous community has for families in need. So many free supplies available and fun events to get the kids excited to head back to school.

Don’t forget to do your back to school shopping Friday, August 2 through Tuesday, August 6, during Florida’s Back to School sales tax holiday.

Hello Beautiful Girl Essentials Back to School Project @ The Lake Square Mall
Girls ages 8-18 years old will receive a bag full of personal hygiene products for free. You must pre-register to receive your bag. There is only 1 bag per girl. Only registered girls will be able to receive a bag.

Back to School Bash @ Maggie’s Wedding Rentals in Umatilla
The Back 2 School Bash will provide students in our community with the supplies they need to succeed in school this year. This is the 1st annual of Back-2-School Bash in Umatilla feature 500 free backpacks full of school supplies, as well as inflatables, face painting, popcorn, live bands, giveaway items, health and education resources and back to school information direct from principal and teachers.
